TODAY/FRIDAY: Rain remains in the forecast through the rest of the work week. Scattered showers today with highs in the upper 50s. Best chance for rain today will come in the morning hours, with hit or miss showers in the afternoon. Rain chances continue overnight. Lows in the upper 40s. Showers and perhaps a thunderstorm possible Friday with highs in the low 50s. Rain clears out overnight and temperatures drop into the low to mid 30s. Patchy frost will be possible by Saturday morning.

WEEKEND: Chilly on Saturday with highs in the 40s and 50s. Sunshine finally returns on Saturday. Temperatures drop below freezing Saturday night, and frost will again be possible across the area. Temperatures climb into the 50s on Sunday, with a slight chance for a shower in the afternoon.

MON/TUE/WED: The first half of next week will start off on a rainy note Monday with widespread showers. Highs in the low 50s Monday. Showers continue Monday night with lows in the 30s. A lingering shower possible Tuesday morning, then becoming clear in the afternoon. Tuesday could bring some of the coldest air so far this winter, with highs in the low to mid 40s and lows Tuesday night into the 20s. Sunny weather on Wednesday and a bit warmer, with highs around 50°.
