Winter Arrives Early: Freeze Warning Friday Night

FREEZE WARNING FOR FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING.  TAKE PRECAUTIONS FOR PETS, PIPES AND PLANTS.

TONIGHT: Clouds hang through area-wide, with rain beginning again late tonight into early tomorrow.  Look for temperatures to hold overall steady in the upper 40s and low 50s with north winds.

FRIDAY: Widespread showers and perhaps a thunderstorm are expected again on Friday with highs in the low 50s. Rain begins to clear out by Friday Evening, but a few football games may stay chilly and wet.  Look for Friday Night temperatures to drop into the upper 20s and low 30s.  Frost is expected area-wide.

THIS WEEKEND: Chilly on Saturday with highs in the 40s and 50s. Sunshine finally returns on Saturday. Temperatures drop below freezing Saturday night, and frost will again be possible across the area. Temperatures climb into the 50s on Sunday, with a slight chance for a shower in the afternoon.

NEXT WEEK: Look for rain to move in Sunday Night late into Monday again.  Temperatures stay cold with highs in the 40s and 50s.  Look for lows in the 20s and 30s, with a hard freeze expected by Tuesday Night and Wednesday Night.  Things look dry by mid to late week.
