Hot with Rain and Storms Later This Weekend

TONIGHT: Look for an isolated shower early with a partly cloudy sky through the night.  Winds remain light out of the south under 5 mph.  Lows fall into the middle 60s.

SUNDAY – MONDAY: The upper level ridge is weakened a bit by a trough to our northwest, which will lead to scattered to numerous showers and storms Sunday, with some lasting into Monday. Highs remain generally in the 80s with a partly cloudy sky.  Lows fall into the mid to upper 60s.  We don’t expect a whole lot of rain, but some spots can expect up to an inch with locally higher amounts where thunderstorms pass through.  The good news is right now the threat for severe weather looks low.

MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK: We think we’ll dry back out, but trends are being monitored for some summer-time pop-up showers and storms.  If that ends up being the case, we’ll see some isolated showers and storms in the afternoon with temperatures remaining in the upper 80s.
