Ackerman kindergartners received back to school buddies

ACKERMAN, Miss. (WCBI) – Going to big kid school can be nerve-wracking for the whole family, especially for the little ones in class. The Ackerman 20th Century Club partnered with Ackerman Elementary to make sure each of the smallest students has a buddy. For the last several years the organization has donated stuffed animals to the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes on the first day of school. Those stuffed animals will be there for the kids when they get anxious or nervous and to help throughout the year.
