A Beautiful Few Days Before A Late-Week Storm System

TODAY: Look for a partly cloudy sky with clouds varying through the day.  High temperatures will climb into the upper 50s.  Some spots may very well go into the low 60s with more sunshine.  Winds will be from the NW at 3-8 mph.

TONIGHT: A partly cloudy sky is anticipated.  There is a chance for an isolated shower/sprinkle, but for most this remains unlikely.  Look for winds from the NW turning to the S by morning between 0-5 mph.  Look for lows in the mid to upper 30s.

TUESDAY: Ample sunshine will occur as clouds clear out early in the morning.  We’ll see beautiful warm weather with highs climbing into the middle and perhaps upper 60s.  Look for variable winds from the south and west through the day.  Lows Tuesday Night fall into the upper 30s and low 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Lots of sunshine is anticipated again, but clouds will fill in from the west during the day.  We’ll keep things dry with highs in the upper 60s and even low 70s in spots.  Lows fall into the upper 40s.

THURSDAY: A few isolated showers roll in ahead of a developing system.  Most stay dry, warm and mostly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 60s.  Lows fall into the middle 50s Thursday Night.

FRIDAY / SATURDAY: We’re watching a storm system wind up to our west.  Some uncertainty remains in how things will progress and play out both in timing and strength.  As of now, we’ll advertise showers with a few thunderstorms.  Ahead of the front will be warm with highs in the 60s, while behind it will be cooler with highs down in the 50s.  The threat for strong storms looks low as of now, but is subject to change as we get closer.  We’ll keep you advised with updates through the week.

SUNDAY – EARLY NEXT WEEK: Post-cold front, we’ll be back in the 50s with more sunshine than not.  The latest 6-10 day outlook from the Climate Prediction Center places us with more favorable odds for cooler and wetter weather in the region.
