TONIGHT:  Areas of rain will continue under cloudy skies. Lows should generally be in the 40s.

THURSDAY: Some clouds and a few lingering showers are possible during the morning but we’ll turn mainly sunny as the day goes on. Highs are going to be in the low to possibly mid 60s.   Northerly breezes between 10 and 15 my will develop.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Clear and seasonably chilly temperatures in the upper 30s are likely.

FRIDAY:  Nearly wall-to-wall sunshine is on tap but highs are going to remain in the low to mid 60s. You’ll need coats for high school football this week but thankfully there will be no rain or storms to worry about unlike last Friday.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions are in order for the start of the weekend  Daytime highs are expected to push into the upper 60s.  College football games in Oxford and Starkville will go off without a hitch weather-wise.

SUNDAY:  Highs stay in the 60s.  We’ll have more cloud cover and there is a 20% to 30% chance of showers.
