SUMMARY: Chances for scattered showers and storms continue for Friday and Saturday as warm and muggy weather continues. More chances for isolated pop-up storms for Sunday and into next week as highs climb into the mid 90s.
FRIDAY: Scattered showers and storms possible throughout the day with highs near 90. If you don’t see any rain, heat index values could reach 105.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Most of the rain will fizzle, but an isolated shower remains possible. Lows in the 70s.
SATURDAY: Showers and storms remain possible through Saturday with highs in the low 90s.
SUNDAY-THURSDAY: We’ll return to a more normal summertime pattern with chances for afternoon pop-up storms each day. Temperatures will warm up for early next week with highs in the mid 90s. This could put heat index values near 110 in some spots.
