Chilly and Blustery Monday.

TODAY: We remain chilly through the day. Temperatures top out in the mid 40s, but northwesterly winds at 7-15 mph will keep wind chills in the 30s all day. Skies will remain overcast to mostly cloudy through the day, but we do stay dry. Skies become partly cloudy overnight, with lows dropping down into the upper 20s.

TUE/WED: A bit warmer with more sunshine as we head into the middle of the week. High temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s Tuesday and mid to upper 50s Wednesday. Temperatures drop to around the freezing mark Tuesday night, but stay in the 40s Wednesday night.

THU-SUN: Rain chances make their way back into the forecast for the latter part of the week. Widespread showers and perhaps a thunderstorm on Thursday, with perhaps a few more showers on Friday. Another round of showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two moves through Saturday and Saturday night, with perhaps some lingering showers Sunday. Cold air will be rushing in on the back edge of the rain and there is some chance for a brief changeover to wintry mix Saturday night or Sunday morning, but the ground would be too wet and warm for there to be any issues. For now it’s just something to watch. Sunday will be a much colder day across the area, with high temperatures struggling to get out of the 30s.
