Clouds return Friday, weekend rain

SUMMARY:  A storm system will develop in the Gulf this weekend and it will spread rain across the region. It’s still uncertain as to how much may fall but it could be anywhere from a trace to over 2″.  The storm spirals away early next week and that will allow sun and unseasonably mild air to settle in just in time for Christmas.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear, quiet, and chilly. Lows in the mid to upper 20s. Calm wind.

FRIDAY: Clouds build in during the day but our area will stay dry. Highs top out in the low to mid 50s.  Winds ESE 4-8 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Turning cloudy. Lows in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers.  Highs in the low 50s.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Cloudy with areas of rain possible. Lows in the 40s.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a 60% chance of rain. Highs in the 50s.

MONDAY-THURSDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy.  Highs in the low to mid 60s. Lows in the 30s and 40s.
