Noxubee County Coroner RL Calhoun has identified the victim in a Tuesday morning shooting as Kelsey Pace, 21. 

Marcus Gardner has been captured.

He was sentenced to 40 years, with 10 years to serve and 30 years suspended.

The Noxubee County Sheriff's Department has identified the suspect as Marcus Gardner, 22. He is considered armed and dangerous. 

A Noxubee County mother is dead and her child was shot multiple times on Tuesday morning.

Evans and the victim were in a relationship at the time of the assault.

It happened in the early morning hours on Friday.

The incident happened back in 2013.

His next court date is scheduled for August 28.
