Dry Through Saturday.

TODAY: Sunny skies and breezy conditions again today. Highs in the mid to upper 50s. Southwest winds at 7-15 mph gusting to 25 mph. Once again, dry air, dry vegetation, and breezy winds will make for favorable conditions for wildfires. Avoid burning if possible and if you must burn, notifying your local fire department what and where things will be burned is a good idea as well. Overnight, winds die back down. Low temperatures drop into the low to mid 30s. A few spots might hit freezing, but other spots will stay just above 32°.

THURSDAY: Another sunny day. Temperatures in the mid 50s again. Overnight lows around 30°.

FRIDAY: A bit cooler behind a dry cold front. Mostly sunny skies, with a high around 50°. Cold and mainly clear overnight. Low temperature in the upper 20s.

WEEKEND: We remain dry on Saturday. Temperatures climb to the upper 50s in the afternoon. Clouds increase overnight, so lows only drop to the low 40s.  Rain returns Sunday. For now, it looks like mainly rain showers, but a few elevated thunderstorms could develop as well. At this time, it appears a lack of instability will preclude any severe weather threat, but it’s something we will watch over the next few days. Highs in the low 60s. Rain chance around 70%. Overnight, the rain ends, with lows in the mid 40s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday and Tuesday of next week look relatively quiet. Cloud cover lingers Monday, but we stay dry, and sunshine returns Tuesday. High temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s, with an overnight low Monday night in the low 40s.
