Garbage pickup starting early in Tupelo due to road work

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Road work will cause garbage pickup workers to come earlier Friday morning in Tupelo.

The City of Tupelo will be overlaying around Woodlawn Street, Joyner Avenue and Clayton Avenue.

City officials ask Tupelo residents to go ahead and put their trash out Thursday because of the earlier pickup time.

Garbage pickup will begin at 6 a.m. Friday.
