Potential Tropical Storm Path

GULF SYSTEM: We’re watching an area of disturbed weather in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s moving generally to the north and will spread a lot of moisture somewhere in the Southeast during the coming days. Right now we think the potential for heavy rain exists in our area between Thursday and Saturday but it’s all dependent upon the eventual track. Stay tuned for updates.

TONIGHT:  Showers and storms fade away. Look for variably cloudy skies with lows in the 60s to lower 70s. Some patchy fog is possible.

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY: We stay mainly dry but a few showers or storms are possible. Rain chances are at 20%. Highs stay in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – SUNDAY:  More widespread rain and storm activity is possible depending on where the moisture from the tropical entity in the Gulf  goes.  We’ve bumped up rain chances to around 70%.  Some flooding may occur if heavy rain sits over an area for any deal of time.  Highs should remain in the 80s.
