WEDNESDAY NIGHT:  Sct’d evening storms should fade away by 9 or 10 p.m. Lows will be in the low 70s.

THURSDAY:  There is a 70% chance of showers and storms during the day.  While some isolated activity possible during the first part of the day the best chance of storms should be from late morning through early evening.  The scenario may feature a cluster of storms moving from NW to SE across our area.  It has the potential to produce instances of damaging wind gusts along with frequent lightning and heavy downpours.  The threat of severe weather exists but there it’s still uncertain as to how organized (and widespread) the storms may become.  Look for muggy highs in the mid to upper 80s.

FRIDAY: We’re back up to around 90 with a 40% chance of pop up showers and storms. Not everyone will get wet.

WEEKEND:  Slightly lower rain chances exist but the threat of a pop up storm exists each day.  Highs should be in the low 90s with heat indices well into the mid to upper 90s.

NEXT WEEK:  A cold front will spark additional showers and storms on Monday.  If we’re lucky slightly drier air may filter in from the north Tuesday and Wednesday.  Highs stay in the 80s to low 90s.
