Harvey Continues To Wobble Along TX Coast. Rain Returns This Week.

HARVEY: Tropical Storm Harvey is still slowly meandering across the Texas coast. With no strong steering for the storm, it is likely to remain in the same general area through about mid-week. Some models eventually move Harvey into our area, bringing heavier rain, while other models keep Harvey across Texas and have it fizzle out there. Regardless, at least some rain from this system is likely through this week.

TODAY: A few scattered showers throughout the day, with mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the mid 80s. Winds southeast at 7-14 mph. Rain chance around 40%.

TONIGHT: Scattered showers continue. Lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Chance of rain around 20%.

TUESDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. A stray shower or two cannot be ruled out. Highs in the upper 80s. Chance of rain around 20%.

WED/THU/FRI: At least scattered showers and thunderstorms possible each day, but the potential for heavier rainfall will be highly dependent on Harvey’s track. High temperatures in the low 80s. Rain chance around 50%.

WEEKEND: Scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible through the weekend. Highs in the mid 80s. Rain chances at 50% Saturday and 40% Sunday.
