Severe Threat Wednesday

TONIGHT: Cloudy conditions are in order with lows in the upper 60s.  A few passing showers will remain possible.

TUESDAY: Plan on a mainly cloudy day with highs in the 80s. Rain chances are low at 20%.  Better odds of rain will exist in central and southern Mississippi.

WEDNESDAY – FRIDAY: The remnants of Harvey are expected to move northeastward from Texas to Arkansas. Our area will be on the side of the system that is favored for a few isolated strong storms that could produce spin-up tornadoes. That’s something we’ll have to be looking out for.  In addition, locally heavy rainfall is possible.  Highs may only top out in the low 80s due to the cloud cover and threat of rain.
