Heavy Rain Possible Today

TODAY: Widespread showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the low 80s. Breezy at times, with winds out of the south at 10-20 miles per hour. Some storms could produce gusty straight line winds, and a spin up tornado cannot be ruled out.

TONIGHT: A few isolated to scattered showers and storms continue. Overnight lows in the low to mid 70s.

SATURDAY: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, with highs in the low to mid 80s. Chance of rain around 50%.

SUNDAY: More spots than not stay dry. Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 80s.

NEXT WEEK: Finally! Dry and nice weather overtakes our area. Partly cloudy Monday through Thursday, with highs slowly increasing from the mid 80s to the upper 80s by the end of the work week. Temperatures will be below average for this time of year. There’s a decent chance overnight lows may drop into the upper 50s one or two nights.
