Hit Or Miss Storms Today; Higher Rain Chances Saturday.

TODAY: Another warm day in store, with a decent amount of sun. Highs in the mid 80s. A few isolated showers and storms will be possible in the afternoon and evening. The best chance for rain before sunset will be along and northwest of the Natchez Trace Parkway, but any one spot could see a downpour. A lingering shower or storm can’t be ruled out overnight. Lows in the mid 60s.

FRIDAY: A few more hit or miss showers and storms possible. Highs in the mid 80s. Scattered showers and storms continue overnight, with lows in the mid 60s.

SATURDAY: More numerous showers and storms likely through the day. Hopefully we can sneak in a few dry hours here and there so folks can enjoy the outdoor events like Market Street Festival, but be prepared for some rain, and of course if you hear thunder, be sure to seek shelter indoors. Highs in the upper 70s. Scattered showers and storms continue into the evening. Lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.

SUN/MON: A dry couple of days to kick off next week. Pleasant on Sunday with highs around 80°, but a bit warmer by Monday with high temperatures back into the mid 80s.

TUE/WED: Rain chances return as we head into the middle of the week. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. Hit or miss showers and storms Tuesday with more numerous downpours Wednesday.
