TODAY: Mostly sunny skies with a high near 90 across the area today. Very hot so a great day to go to the pool! Winds will be from the south around 5-10 mph. Lows tonight will be in the mid to upper 60s.
SATURDAY: Another sunny day is in store for us with highs in the upper 80s. Lots of sunshine is expected today so make sure you have your sunscreen handy! Lows tonight will be in the upper 60s across the map.
SUNDAY – MONDAY: The upper level ridge is weakened a bit by a trough to our northwest, which will lead to scattered to numerous showers and storms Sunday, with some lasting into Monday. Highs remain generally in the 80s with a partly cloudy sky. Lows fall into the mid to upper 60s. We don’t expect a whole lot of rain, but some spots can expect up to an inch with locally higher amounts where thunderstorms pass through. The good news is right now the threat for severe weather looks low.
MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK: We think we’ll dry back out, but trends are being monitored for some summer-time pop-up showers and storms. If that ends up being the case, we’ll see some isolated showers and storms in the afternoon with temperatures remaining in the upper 80s.
