Hot Again Today. Scattered Storms Friday.

TODAY: Hot and humid. Highs in the mid 90s with heat index values in the low to mid 100s. A stray pop up shower or storm cannot be ruled out, but most spots stay dry. Rain chance at 10%.

TONIGHT: Overnight lows in the mid 70s. Variably cloudy. A couple of pop up showers and storms will be possible, mainly north of US-278. Rain chance at 20%.

FRIDAY: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s to near 90. One or two strong storms could produce gusty winds and small hail. Rain chance around 60%.

WEEKEND: A few lingering showers and storms possible Saturday, especially along and south of US-82. Otherwise, decreasing clouds and more comfortable with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Sunday will be dry and nice. Partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

NEXT WEEK: Highs climb into the upper 80s and low 90s to start the work week next week. We will also keep the chance in for a pop up shower or storm each day, but rain chances look low through Wednesday.
