Irma To Bring Rain, Breezy Conditions To Our Area.

TODAY: Irma continues to weaken over land this morning. Its track will continue northwest towards Alabama and Georgia today bringing tropical storm conditions. In our area, clouds increase in the morning, and a few showers will be possible this afternoon. Afternoon rain chance around 40%. Highs in the mid 70s. Breezy across the area as well, with wind gusts of around 40 mph possible. No severe weather is anticipated.

TONIGHT: The remnants of Irma move over our area. Most spots get rain, and breezy conditions will continue. Rain chance around 90% overnight. Wind gusts of 30 mph possible. Overnight lows around 60.

TUESDAY: Rain continues. Not as windy, with gusts of 15-20 mph possible. Highs in the mid 60s. Rain chance around 80%.

WEDNESDAY: A few showers possible, especially before noon. Highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Chance of rain around 40%.

THURSDAY: A dry day on Thursday as the remnant moisture associated with Irma moves north out of our area. Partly cloudy, with highs in the low 80s.

FRI/SAT/SUN: Partly cloudy conditions continue, and a warm-up to end the week as well. Highs in the upper 80s to around 90°.
