Late Week Rain Chances

TONIGHT: Cloudy and cool with lows in the low 30s. Light northerly winds between 2 and 5 mph continue.

TUESDAY: Extensive cloud cover will start out the day but there should be some breaks in the cloud deck as the day wears on. Highs should be in the mid to upper 40s. Winds become variable between 2 and 6 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Variably cloudy with lows around 30.

WEDNESDAY: A mix of sun and clouds should allow for milder highs in the mid 50s. It’ll be nice to see some sun once again!

THURSDAY: There is a 70% chance of showers and t-showers. Mild highs in the upper 50s to around 60 are expected even with the elevated rain chances.

FRIDAY: Mild highs around 60 remain as we get in between weather makers. Look for variably cloudy conditions to wrap up the work week.  Some rain is possible during the evening but we’re going to keep the chance low at 30%.

SATURDAY-SUNDAY: Rain and storm chances go up to 90% Saturday as a potent weather maker zooms through the region. Daytime highs should top out well into the 60s in our part of the world. A strong storm can’t be ruled out. Cold air will rush back into the area Saturday night and that could support a little frozen precipitation for the first part of Sunday. At this point it doesn’t look like a major event for our area but we’ll continue to monitor it. The big story overall Sunday will be windy conditions and highs only in the 30s. Suffice to say it’s looking like a very chilly day at this point.
