Sun Returns Tuesday
MONDAY NIGHT: Areas of rain and storms will linger this evening but they will gradually taper during the night. Lows will be around 60.
TUESDAY: Clouds and a few showers may be around when you wake up but more and more sunshine is going to develop by afternoon. Daytime highs should be in the upper 70s. Northwesterly winds develop between 5 and 15 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear and quiet. Cool lows around 50 settle back into the region.
WEDNESDAY: A mostly sunny and warm spring day is shaping up. Plan on highs in the lower 80s. Lows in the upper 50s are likely Wednesday night.
THURSDAY: Another pretty nice day is on track with highs the 80s. One downside may be increasing southerly winds. We’re still watching out for a round of evening/overnight storms due to an incoming cold front. Some strong to severe weather remains possible as the line of storms passes on through.
FRIDAY: The work week wraps up on a tame note with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the 70s.
WEEKEND: Another active period of weather is possible Saturday and Sunday. Heavy rain, storms, and at least the chance of severe weather remain in the forecast. It’s too early to nail down timing and specifics but it’s worth watching as the week goes on.
