More sunshine for Thursday & warmer temperatures on the way

SUMMARY: We’ll have another sunny day for your Thursday before clouds start moving back in for Friday. We’ll have to keep our eyes on a storm system in the Gulf of Mexico this weekend for some rain chances. Models are going back and fourth on how much rain we can get. It will all come down to the track of the system so stay tuned for updates. Nice and warmer weather builds back in for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

THURSDAY: Another sunny day is expected. Highs will climb into the lower 50s with a light SE wind as high pressure moves east.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear & cold. Lows in the upper 20s. Light wind.

FRIDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the lower to middle 50s. Lows in the 30s Friday night.

WEEKEND: Mostly cloudy skies. Some rain chances are possible both on Saturday and Sunday. Rain totals depending on the track of the system moving through the Gulf of Mexico. No severe weather will occur here. Anything could still change with the forecast so stay tuned. Highs stay in the 50s with lows in the lower 40s.

MONDAY-CHRISTMAS DAY: Nice and sunny conditions return just in time for Christmas. Highs will be warmer in the 60s with lows in the upper 30s and 40s. No White Christmas for us this year.

LATE NEXT WEEK: Some data suggest it could become stormy again going into next weekend. It’s something to watch since we can have very active weather this time of year.
