Much Cooler Wednesday.

TODAY: An active night last night gives way to a quiet and cool day today. Cloud cover will push out by afternoon, leaving sunny skies. Highs in the 50s and 60s. Winds NNW at 10-15 mph gusting to 20 mph. Overnight, temps drop into the low 30s. Frost is likely across the area, with a few spots potentially dropping to freezing.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and a bit warmer, with highs back in the mid to upper 60s, and overnight lows will stay in the 40s.

FRI/SAT: Back into the 70s on Friday, and rain chances return as well. It appears there will be a few scattered showers and storms during the day, with widespread showers and storms overnight Friday night into Saturday morning. A strong storm or two cannot be ruled out Friday night, but widespread severe weather appears rather unlikely. Lows Friday night in the 40s. As previously mentioned, rain will kick off Saturday morning, but for now it appears we should dry out in the afternoon. It will be quite cool in the afternoon, with highs only in the 50s. Lows Saturday night could drop to near freezing.

SUNDAY: Calm weather to round out the weekend. Highs in the 60s under partly sunny skies.
