Nice and Cool Tonight, Looking Dry Until the Weekend

MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear tonight with lows down into the low 50s.  A few spots will see the upper 40s.  An isolated spot of patchy fog is possible, but overall unlikely. Winds will be out of the north under 5mph.

TUESDAY: Another day with lots of sunshine is anticipated! We will see some clouds, but temperatures will make it into the mid to upper 70s area wide.

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY:  Look for a partly cloudy day with general light and variable winds.  An isolated shower is possible particularly closer to the Tennessee border, but we expect them to remain few and far in between. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s.  Lows in the low 60s.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY: The sunshine returns with temperatures in the upper 80s.  A few spots will hit 90.  Gulf moisture will be creeping back in so we’ll get a good solid taste of summer heat and humidity.  Lows at night fall into the mid to upper 60s.

SUNDAY – EARLY NEXT WEEK: Look for high temperatures to remain in the mid to upper 80s.  A few isolated to scattered showers and storms remain possible, but we’re overall leaning towards keeping things dry.  We’ll keep you posted.
