Quiet Leading Up To Thanksgiving

MONDAY NIGHT: Showers come to an end and clouds gradually thin out. Look for lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny conditions settle in that bodes well for early holiday travel. Daytime highs in the 50s are likely. Overnight lows will be down to around freezing if not a few degrees below.

THANKSGIVING DAY: The holiday itself continues to look mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs should be around 60. You’ll be able to get outside after dinner to burn off some of those calories! Heading to the Egg Bowl in Oxford? Plan on mainly clear skies during the game along with temperatures cooling into the 40s. Weather will not impact the game this year.

FRIDAY: The first half of the day should be quiet but wet weather is likely during the afternoon and into the evening. Highs top out in the mid to upper 50s. There may be some locally heavy rain going into Friday night but we’ll see how things come together later in the week.  Keep this in mind if you’ll be venturing out to high school playoff football.

SATURDAY: A few showers may linger early but fair weather should win out as the day wears on. Highs top out around 60 under partly cloudy skies.

SUNDAY: We’re still expecting highs around 60 but a few showers can’t be ruled out as another cold front approaches the region.
