Rain Chances Going Up

THURSDAY NIGHT:  Clouds fill back in during the night with some spotty sprinkles or showers possible by sunrise. Temperatures look to hover in the 50s all night long.  Southerly winds relax into the 5 to 15 mph range.

FRIDAY:  Most of the area is going to top out in the 60s as southerly winds continue.  Some isolated showers are possible during the first half of the day but higher odds of rain exist during the afternoon and evening hours.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Areas of rain are possible with a cold front that will pass on by. Temperatures should fall into the lower 40s and perhaps even a few upper 30s by Saturday morning.

SATURDAY:  Rain chances now appear much lower. Look for variably cloudy skies and highs in the 50s.

SUNDAY:  Temperatures zoom back up into the mid 60s but rain chances go up as well.

NEXT WEEK:  Model data suggest that we may get into a wet pattern.  Several disturbances could bring lots of rain to the region.  It’s certainly something that we’re going to have to monitor.  There may also be a big spread in temperature from NW to SE during the week too if a frontal boundary sets up across the Twin States.
