Rain Chances Through Next 7 Days.

TODAY: Hit or miss showers and a few thunderstorms. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. Winds out of the southwest at 7-15 miles per hour, with gusts at 20 miles per hour. Not everyone will get wet today, with the rain chance at 40%. With rain chances through the next 7 days and a lot of activities planned for the weekend and the 4th of July, I would advise having backup indoor plans or at least understanding that outdoor events may have to be delayed for rain. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!

SATURDAY:  More scattered showers and storms once again. Highs in the upper 80s, with a heat index value in the mid 90s. Chance of rain around 50%.

SUNDAY: More hit or miss showers and storms. Highs again in the upper 80s, with a heat index value in the mid 90s. Rain chance around 40%.

MONDAY-INDEPENDENCE DAY: High temperatures climb into the low 90s, with heat index values in the upper 90s and low 100s. A few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Rain chance at around 30%.
