Rain Returns This Weekend. Saturday Washout.

TODAY: Partly cloudy through the day, with clouds increasing in the late afternoon and evening. Highs around 50°. South wind at 5-10 mph. Becoming mostly cloudy overnight with calm winds. Lows in the upper 30s.

FRI/SAT/SUN: Showers move into the area Friday, with rain becoming more likely as the day wears on. Showers continue overnight Friday, with widespread rain moving in Saturday. Rain will be heavy at times Saturday, with rainfall totals in the 1-3″ range, with locally higher amounts. Some localized flooding can’t be ruled out. A few lingering showers possible Sunday. Highs in the mid 40s through the end of the week. Lows in the 40s Friday and Saturday nights, and into the 30s Sunday night.

MONDAY: Enough moisture may linger around north of US-278 Monday morning to squeeze out a light shower or perhaps a flurry, but there would be no impacts from this. Skies will be mostly cloudy. Highs in the low 40s, with an overnight low in the 20s.

TUE/WED: Warming up a bit by mid-week. High temperatures back into the 50s with more sunshine. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark Tuesday night.
