Rain showers Wednesday

SUMMARY: Another week of relatively quiet winter weather is on tap. Some showers are possible both Wednesday and Friday as weak weather systems pass on by the region. At this point we don’t expect any widespread, heavy rain with either of them. The upcoming weekend is looking like it will be pretty sunny with unseasonably mild air returning for Super Bowl Sunday.

MONDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy and quiet. Areas of fog are possible. Lows in the mid 30s with light and variable wind.

TUESDAY: Variably cloudy. Highs in the upper 50s to around 60. Winds ESE 2-7 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Cloudy with showers developing. Lows in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Areas of rain. The chance of precipitation is 70%. Generally light amounts between a trace to 1/2” are expected. Highs in the upper 40s to around 50.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Cloudy with lingering showers possible. Lows in the upper 30s.

THURSDAY: Extensive cloud cover in the morning with a few breaks developing during the day. Highs in the low to mid 50s. Lows in the 40s Thursday night.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers. Highs in the low to mid 50s. Upper 30s for lows Friday night.

SATURDAY: Becoming sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. Upper 30s to around 40 Saturday night under mainly clear skies.

SUNDAY: Sunny and mild. Highs in the mid to possibly upper 60s.
