Scattered Showers Today.

TODAY: Cloudy skies with scattered showers during the day and into the early evening. Highs in the mid 50s. Rain ends overnight. Lows in the 40s.

FRIDAY: Mostly dry during the day, but an isolated shower or two can’t be ruled out in the second half of the day or overnight. Highs in the upper 50s. Overnight lows in the low to mid 50s.

SATURDAY: Widespread showers and storms through the day as a cold front pushes through from the northwest. Highs in the mid 60s. A few storms could become strong, with gusty winds being the main threat. Cold air rushes into our area behind the front in the evening and overnight hours, and that could lead to some wintry mix or light snow showers. A warm, wet ground and the light nature of any wintry precip will mean no winter weather impacts, but we will continue to monitor the setup. Overnight lows in the low 30s.

SUNDAY: Decreasing clouds and cold through the day with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Northwest winds at 10-20 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph will keep wind chills in the teens and 20s through the day. Winds calm somewhat overnight under clear skies, allowing temperatures to drop into the teens and 20s.

MLK DAY: Sunny and a bit warmer than Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Overnight lows in the low to mid 30s.

TUE/WED: High temperatures into the 40s and 50s Tuesday and Wednesday with another front approaching. Isolated showers possible Tuesday, with more widespread precipitation Wednesday. Temperatures will likely drop through the day Wednesday, with the high temperature coming in the morning hours.
