Severe Storms Possible Thursday.

TODAY: Cloud cover increases, but the occasional peek of sunshine isn’t totally out of the question either. Highs in the upper 70s. South winds around 5-15 mph gusting as high as 20 mph. Overnight, cloud cover sticks around with lows in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY: High temperatures will climb into the upper 70s in advance of a cold front. This front will trigger storms in the afternoon and evening. These storms will likely be severe, capable of producing strong straight line winds, flash flooding, hail, and a few tornadoes. The main time-frame for storms will be from the early afternoon hours into the early overnight hours. We expect severe weather to be done by 10 pm at the latest.

FRIDAY: The weather will be much cooler behind the front. Highs will likely stay below 60°F in a lot of spots. Cloudy conditions with a few scattered showers possible through the day, and winds will be gusty out of the northwest.

EASTER WEEKEND: The weather looks nice over the weekend, with highs around 70° Saturday and in the upper 70s Easter Sunday under sunny skies.
