Soaking Tuesday; Colder rest of week.

TODAY: Our much discussed cold front pushes through today, bringing with it a good soaking rain. Our highest temperature is likely to occur in the morning hours, and then drop into the afternoon. High temperatures in the mid 60s, but we will be in the 50s this afternoon. Rainfall is already ongoing this morning, and will continue through the day. A few showers could linger into the evening, especially in areas south of US-82 or east of US-45. Overnight lows in the mid to upper 30s.

WED/THU: Much cooler, with high temperatures in the low 50s under variably cloudy skies. Overnight lows Wednesday in the low to mid 30s, and Thursday below freezing in the low 30s.

FRI/SAT/SUN: Even colder to round out the week thanks to a weak reinforcing cold front. Highs topping out shy of the 50°. Overnight lows dropping below freezing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, with the potential for a hard freeze Saturday night.

MONDAY: Much warmer, with highs in the mid to upper 50s, around average for this time of year.
