Staying Warm & Humid, Daily Storm Chances Continue

SUMMARY: Typical summer weather is here to stay. There is a daily chance of showers and storms along with plenty of heat and humidity going forward.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: A stray evening shower/storm is possible but most spots will simply remain quiet and muggy. Lows should be in the upper 60s to around 70 with calm wind.

THURSDAY-FRIDAY: Warm and humid air hangs around and it may fuel more scattered showers and storms. We’re going to go with a 40% opportunity for rain but that also means some folks will miss out. Look for highs around 90 with heat index values in the mid to upper 90s. Overnight lows will be around 70.

SATURDAY-WEDNESDAY: Not too many changes are headed our way. Highs are going to remain in the low 90s with heat index values pushing 100 at times. Overnight lows should be mainly in the low 70s. There is a 30-40% chance of a few showers and storms each day. Most activity that develops will occur during the heating of the day with a loss in coverage/intensity after sunset.
