Storms end this evening, colder Tuesday

SUMMARY: The severe threat is over!  Showers will gradually end tonight as much colder air settles in for Tuesday with highs only in the 40s under mainly cloudy skies. We’ll have bright sunshine for the middle of the week with another chance of a few showers by Friday and Saturday. The early outlook for Christmas Eve & Day suggests lots of sunshine and seasonably mild 60s.

MONDAY NIGHT:  Mainly cloudy with temperatures tumbling into the low 40s and  30s by sunrise Tuesday. Winds become WNW 10-20 mph.

TUESDAY: Mainly cloudy, breezy, and chilly. Highs in the low to mid 40s. Winds NW 10-20 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Clear and chilly. Lows in the 20s.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny. Highs in the upper 40s.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Clear. Lows in the 20s.

THURSDAY: Sunny. Highs in the low 50s.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy. Some showers are possible but details still have to be worked out. Highs in the 50s.
