A Few Storms Today, Some Strong Storms Tomorrow
TODAY/TONIGHT: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with temperatures again soaring into the upper 80s and low 90s. A few scattered showers and storms are anticipated by the afternoon and evening, particularly along and west of Highway 15 from New Albany to Houston to Ackerman. Many will stay dry through Saturday Night. Lows Saturday Night fall into the upper 60s.
MONDAY: A few thunderstorms may redevelop in the area, but overall we think things stay isolated to scattered in nature. Highs climb into the mid to upper 80s. Look for a partly cloudy sky.
MIDDLE/LATE NEXT WEEK: We think we’ll dry back out, but some afternoon summer-time pop-up showers and storms can’t be ruled out. Overall, we’ll be climbing into the upper 80s and lower 90s, with some spots seeing heat index values into the middle to even upper 90s at times.
