Stormy Sunday, Unsettled Monday

SUNDAY NIGHT: Additional showers and storms are expected to roll in from the southwest. These will have the potential to produce lightning, gusty breezes, heavy rain, and perhaps small hail. No widespread severe weather is expected at this point. Lows will be in the 60s.

MONDAY: A continuing chance of rain and storms is in the forecast as an area of low pressure swirls across the region. We can’t rule to a few strong storms with hail and gusty winds. Highs look to be in the 70s. Showers may linger around parts of the area Monday night as temperatures cool down to around 60.

TUESDAY: Some morning clouds and showers are possible but a nice drying trend should commence as the day wears on. Highs are going to top out mainly in the mid to upper 70s. The 50s return Tuesday night.

WEDNESDAY: A mostly sunny and warm spring day is shaping up. Plan on highs in the lower 80s.

THURSDAY: Another pretty nice day is on track with highs the 80s. Evening storms are possible with an incoming cold front. We’ll continue to evaluate any severe weather threat during the coming days.
