TODAY: Dry through the early morning, with scattered thunderstorms developing from the late morning through the afternoon and into the evening. Some storms could be strong, with gusty winds, heavy downpours, and frequent lightning. High temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s. Drying out overnight. Lows in the low 70s.

FRIDAY-WEDNESDAY: Standard summer weather in store for us to round out this week and head into next week. Temperatures will top out in the low 90s, with the heat index in the mid to upper 90s and low 100s. A few scattered showers and storms will be possible each day. Rain chances will run about 30%.
