SUN RETURNING BUT RAIN WILL BE QUICK TO FOLLOW

MONDAY NIGHT: Clouds thin out and temperatures cool into the 30s during the evening and 20s later tonight. Some patchy freezing fog is possible.

TUESDAY: Bright sunshine is slated to return to the region. Look for highs around 50 with southerly breezes developing between 5 and 10 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear with chilly lows in the 20s.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds increase as the day goes on but our area is going to remain dry. Southerly breezes should allow for warmer temperatures in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY: Look for mostly cloudy skies and developing rain, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. We’re going to paint a 70% chance of rain during the day as a whole. Highs may top out around 60. Breezy southeasterly winds are going to ramp back up too.

FRIDAY: Additional showers are likely as an area of low pressure swirls around the region. Highs stay in the 50s. We can’t totally rule out a rogue snow shower mixing in Friday night as a cold pocked of air aloft moves through the region but this is just a remote possibility at this point.

SATURDAY: Showers and clouds are expected to linger for at least the first half of the day. Highs in the low to mid 50s may be the best we can do.

SUNDAY-MONDAY: High pressure builds back into the area and that should allow for a lot more sun and seasonable temperatures in the mid to upper 50s.
