TONIGHT: Clear and quiet conditions are on tap but there will be a fall chill in the air once again.  Look for lows in the upper 30s with northerly breezes between 2 and 6 mph.

FRIDAY:  Wall-to-wall sunshine is going to be enjoyed all day long and that will allow daytime highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s.   Northerly breezes between 10 and 15 mph will keep the fall chill going, even with the sunshine. Plan on cool 40s for high school football in the evening but thankfully skies will remain clear.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and pleasant weather sets up for the start of the weekend.  Daytime highs are going to be in the 60s.  Conditions look great for the football games in Oxford and Starkville but you’ll need a coat in the morning and during the evening.

SUNDAY:  A few more clouds are likely as a weak front moves into the region. The latest data suggest an even lower chance of rain but we can’t totally rule out a stray shower.  Highs stay in the 60s.

NEXT WEEK:  Fairly dry and benign weather is likely for most of the week.  We’ll start off the week in the 60s but may push up into the low 70s by Thursday.
