Sunny Start To The Weekend Coming

THURSDAY NIGHT: Variably cloudy and quiet. Any isolated shower(s) will fade away by early evening. Lows in the mid to upper 60s.

FRIDAY-SATURDAY: Lots of sunshine will take hold of the region and that bodes well for NCAA baseball in Starkville and Oxford. Highs should generally be in the upper 80s with overnight lows in the 60s.

SUNDAY: Another pretty warm day is on tap with expected highs around 90 give or take. Could there be a few stray showers or storms around? It’s possible but we’re just adding back in a 20% chance for now.

NEXT WEEK: The overall pattern suggests seasonably warm air holding on around here. Several disturbances could provide a spark for some rain and storms but the signal isn’t high enough to add more than a 20% chance Tuesday through Thursday at this time.
