Thunderstorms To Bring Heavy Rain Later This Week.

TODAY: Another cloudy day in store for us. Winds again a touch breezy out of the southeast around 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. Highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. We remain cloudy overnight. Lows in the 60s.

WED/THU: Showers and storms return to the forecast Wednesday. An isolated strong storm can’t be ruled out. Highs in the upper 70s. Chance of rain around 50%. Rain becomes a bit more widespread overnight and into Thursday. Heavy rain is likely. An isolated strong storm will again be possible Thursday. Highs in the 60s and 70s. Our biggest threat with this setup will be flooding, and with some areas forecast to exceed 4 inches of rainfall over the two day period, it’s something we will be watching for closely.

FRIDAY: A few lingering showers will be possible. Some sunshine looks to finally break through. Highs in the upper 60s, with an overnight low in the 40s.

SATY/SUN: Easter weekend looks quite nice as far as the weather is concerned. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s, with sunny to mostly sunny skies. We could see some rain start to move in overnight Sunday, but for now we’re keeping the rain chance off the board through the weekend.

MONDAY: A few isolated showers will be possible. Otherwise mostly cloudy, with highs in the 70s.
