Video: Lowndes County Candidates Host Meet And Greet

CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI) – With Election Day right around the corner, Lowndes County invited citizens to get to know the hopeful candidates.

The Caledonia Community Center hosted an informal candidate meet-and-greet Thursday evening.

The community was invited to attend the event to get to know the hopeful voices and leaders of Lowndes County.

Candidates were allotted three minutes at the podium to introduce themselves, as well as discuss their platform and future plans on how they will serve if elected.

Voting polls will open Tuesday morning, August 4th.
