Warm Weekend, Fair Eclipse Viewing Monday

FRIDAY NIGHT: Quiet conditions are in store with lows falling into the low 70s and upper 60s.

SATURDAY:  A mix of clouds and sun is likely.  While a shower or storm is possible, most spots will remain dry. Look for highs in the low 90s.  Heat indices may creep back into the low 100s during the afternoon.

SUNDAY: Highs in the low 90s are on track once again under a partly cloudy sky.  A pop-up storm or shower is possible but rain chances are low at 20%.

MONDAY:  We envision a mix of puffy clouds and sun for most of the day but a few isolated showers or storms may develop.  Overall things look pretty good for viewing the solar eclipse early in the afternoon.  Peak eclipse in our area will be just before 1:30 p.m.  Highs will be in the low to mid 90s.

TUESDAY: Warm and humid weather stays put but we’ll have a slightly better chance for a few scattered showers and storms.  Plan on highs in the low to mid 90s.

WEDNESDAY:  A cold front is going to spark a few more showers and storms during the day  Rain chances increase to 40%. Highs stay in the low 90s.
