Weekend Forecast

SATURDAY:  Rain chances are basically nil but we’re still expecting a mostly cloudy day.  Cooler daytime highs in the 50s return with NNE winds setting up between 5 and 15 mph.

SUNDAY:  Warmer 60s return as a surge of mild air builds back in from the Coast.  The trade off is an increased chance of rain.  It may end being a wet afternoon and evening around here.

MONDAY:  Temperatures return to the 50s but rain chances go down to just 20%.

TUESDAY-THURSDAY:  We’re likely going to have a wide array of temperatures around the Twin States. For now we’re keeping mainly 50s for highs in the forecast but that could go either way depending on where a frontal boundary sets up.  The bigger story is going to be the potential for several inches of rain Tuesday through Thursday.  Model data continue to suggest over 3″ and that could be a conservative number. It’ll be something to watch for sure.
