SATURDAY: Mainly sunny and hot today with highs well into the 90s. The heat index may surpass 100 again. You’ll definitely need plenty of water and sunscreen if you’ll be out in the sun, especially during the college football games on Saturday afternoon. There will be a weak cold front moving across the area today and we can’t totally rule out a stray shower or storm but odds are pretty low at this time. Assume more sun and heat than anything else.
SUNDAY-NEXT WEEK: Partly cloudy skies and hot weather continues. Highs in the mid 90s are possible a week long. There may be a few isolated showers and storms around at times during the heating of the day but no widespread relief from the heat is expected at this time.
