SATURDAY: Plan on more heat and humidity. Actual highs will be in the low to mid 90s but the heat index may once again top 100°. There is a 30% to 40% chance of pop-up showers and storms. This doesn’t mean everyone will get in on the action but at least there is a chance for some decent downpours around the area.

SUNDAY: We expect slightly cooler highs in the low 90s along with a 40% chance of scattered showers and storms. Any rain will be welcome.

NEXT WEEK: Rain chances are highest Monday and Tuesday with a weak frontal boundary in the region. By the middle of the week rain chances may lower which in turn could allow temperatures to rise once more.
