Wet & Breezy End to the Week
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Areas of showers are likely with the chance of rain at 70%. Lows will only be in the upper 40s with southeasterly winds between 5 and 10 mph.
THURSDAY: We’re going to keep a 50% chance of showers in the forecast but it may not end up raining the entire day. Just keep an umbrella on standby. Daytime highs will be in the 50s under cloudy skies.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Another round of showers is likely but the big story may end up being the wind. Northwesterly winds will increase between 10 and 25 mph with higher gusts. Temperatures will bottom out in the upper 30s to around 40.
FRIDAY: Lingering showers are likely during the morning but the clouds make take a bit longer to exit the area during the afternoon. Expect a cool day with afternoon temperatures in the mid 40s. Blustery NW winds are going to continue between 10 and 25 mph with some higher gusts. Winter officially begins at 4:23 p.m.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Clear and cold conditions return with lows around 30. Wind speeds drop significantly.
SATURDAY: Look for lots of sun along with seasonably highs in the middle 50s. It’ll be a good day to get some last minute holiday chores taken care of.
SUNDAY: There are going to be more clouds around the region and there may also end up being a few showers around We’re going to keep the rain chance low at 20%. Highs are forecast to top out in the mid to upper 50s.
MONDAY: Our Christmas Eve day should be pretty decent with a mix of sun and clouds and near average temperatures in the low to mid 50s. Quiet conditions are likely to continue for Santa’s arrival Monday night. Lows will be in the upper 30s.
Christmas Day: We’re going to keep a 30% chance of showers going. Look for mild highs in the upper 50s to around 60.
