Wintry Weather Ends, Brighter & Warmer Conditions Coming

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Most of the precipitation will come to an end but some flakes and drizzle may linger under the clouds. Keep an eye out for slippery spots on elevated surfaces, especially on bridges.  Lows will range from the upper 20s to low 30s and that means a widespread freeze across the area. Winds continue from the WNW between 4 and 8 mph.

THURSDAY: The day will start off cloudy and dreary but we expect clouds to thin out during the afternoon. Highs should get back into the low to mid 40s but that’s still more than 20° below normal. A westerly breeze between 5 and 15 is going to keep a chill in the air so bundle up.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Clear, calm, and cold weather settles in. Lows fall into the upper 20s.

FRIDAY: Look for mostly sunny skies and seasonably cool highs in the upper 50s. It’ll be a nice day to round out the work week.

WEEKEND: Fair skies continue with highs in the low to mid 60s.

NEXT WEEK: Quiet conditions look to hold at least through Wednesday. Some wet weather is possible on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, but it’s not a slam dunk. We’ll continue to follow things as they holiday draws closer.
